DANIELA & SPINELLA DESIGN:
Daniela Spinella originally from Rome, Italy, spent the best years of her life in Dublin, Ireland and graduated from Ireland’s National College of Art and Design (NCAD) with an Honours Degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design.
She also studied Graphic Design in Kansas City, Missouri, in the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) the very same college where Walt Disney studied Illustration and came up with the Mickey Mouse character… She just thought she’d mention that as it was worth bragging about. In the USA Daniela was fascinated and deeply influenced by the American Graphic Design style.
Subsequently thirsty for more design diversity and advertising types and sick of the Irish rain, she decided to move to Berlin, Germany. Finally feeling for the first time really at home (she doesn’t even have an umbrella here) attended intensive German Language courses and Spinella Design was founded!
Based in Friedrichshain, Berlin, Daniela is internationally active with clients in Germany, Italy, Ireland, England and the USA. Amongst the biggest names she created design for, are the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), The Irish Times, Fifa Fanmeilen, FC Union, Messe Berlin and Axel Springer.
